Top 10 Home office setups on Twitter: November 2021

Top 10 Home office setups on Twitter: November 2021

We are back this month with a whole new ranking of the Top 10 Home office setups on Twitter.

In November, Portugal banned bosses from texting remote workers outside of office hours and is now requiring employers to pay for higher electricity and internet bills.

Many companies also struggled during this month with implementing a hybrid work policy.

In other news, a report came out that found workplace harassment increased with more people working remotely

We cover these latest remote work trends in our newsletter Check it out to read tips from remote work expert interviews, hand-picked content, and amazing podcasts...every Friday!

This month on Twitter there was more people than ever posting their WFH setups as many are closing out the year and want to share their remote routines.

We had plenty of great setups to choose from and are left with these 10 to inspire your own remote workspace. Plus the fan-favorite "Funny" category! Check it out below.

10.

sweet home office

Minimalist design is about prioritizing the essentials and @SamuelCise's does just that. It is just a Macbook Air and what looks like a 52" LG monitor on a stand that matches the color of the long desk.

We chose this setup more for its potential, rather than how it looks now. Having a mouse pad, ergonomic mouse, laptop stand, small speakers, and one personal item would achieve a more pure form of elegance.

While the final realization might seem effortlessly simple, as spare as a poem and as clear as a bell, achieving this kind of powerful simplicity is anything but easy.

9.

vertical screen home office setup

The reason why @darrylw71's setup hits the number 9 is obviously because of the travel mug on the desk.

Put a hand up if contrary to your better nature you have carried a mug full of coffee close to your workspace? Now how many times has it spilled over your office setup?

We actually enjoyed this setup a lot for the position of the two monitors with the laptop to the side. You can easily switch between working on the PC or the laptop and you have an external webcam, a standard keyboard, a tiny speaker and an apple mouse to compliment everything.

We would love to know what year that dell is from though it looks like it has seen better days.

8.

home office with cat

This workspace is the purrfect setup for a UX Engineer like @cat_a_flameWhat else will tell you this setup belongs to a big cat lover more than their twitter handle or a sweet cuddly feline that reminds us cats are connoisseurs of comfort?

This one comes in at number 8 because we thought the position of the webcam on the side of the monitor and on top of the Macbook was creative. The iPad and phone holder helps for multitasking, and the ergonomic mouse helps to move between the two screens with ease.

The laptop stand was also a great addition even though the desk looks sturdy. Is the collectible underneath the monitor a Chucky doll with an alligator?

7.

new desk setup

This tri-corner desk setup belongs to @paulmoconnell. He has it so that he can swivel between each monitor, and focus on different aspects of a remote worker's life. Like emails, career hub, and Slack.

The setup is powered by a mac book pro, and the monitors are ASUS and Benq.

A very old school look with the sticky notes but they still can be more useful for remembering than your phone sometimes. We particularly love the woodwork laptop stand and the Japanese artwork. Did he get it there?

We are loving for how well organized the space is although we would love to ask why his antique pen holder is empty.

6.

gamer home office setup

Whether vacationing or slaving under capitalism as he refers to it, @wrossmck always choses to do it stylishly.

The actual setup has dual monitors both suspended by adjustable arms along with a microphone. A Mac book Air sits in the middle with a Call of Duty mouse pad and headset on a solid walnut automatic standing desk.

Safe to say he likes video games with the StarWars Battlefront background on the laptop. What other games has he worked on?

As a true testament to the saying “Rome wasn’t built in a day” this setup is a result of a two-year journey. He started from using the kitchen table and slowly pieced together the rest. This is actually just after a move with the rest of his equipment arriving next month.

So for other remote workers hoping to get their WFH setup, be like Ross start small and build it into something you love. We would also want to recommend everyone copy him by getting a water bottle and a mug for their setup to always stay hydrated.

5.

home office standing desk setup

This cool vertical home office by @mkramer made our eyes pop. She stacks all her devices and the artwork on the wall oozes creativity.

The view from the window is perfect for brainstorming ideas as the day changes with natural sunlight.

For the actual setup, we can see what looks like a Keychron keyboard on a dual stand placed on a wooden standing desk. Even the laptop has a stand! Underneath it all is plenty of room to take notes.

There are other accessories on the desk such as the headset, webcam, ergonomic mouse and a file and phone holder.

We wonder what the award next to the lamp was for?

4.

Teleprompter setup

The WFH setup by @MSliwinski is the cutest picturesque space on this list. You certainly cannot miss the Yoda nurturing the 3-in-1 Belkin MagSafe charge.

The setup is supported by a Maidsite Adjustable Height Electric Standing Desk which has a memory setting for each position.

On the desk is an iMac 5K Retina Desktop, sitting close between two Elgato KeyLight units.

On the right-hand side of the Mac is a Shure MV7 microphone and a teleprompter with an external 10” monitor on it and a Sony ZV-E10 camera. The Sony camera is connected via Elgato CamLink 4K to the iMac. All excellent devices for streaming or recording videos.

Let’s not forget the Ipad Pro 13 that helps control everything. With all the cars in the background we wonder which would be his dream one to drive.

3.

three monitor developer setup

We can't get over @TechieLass's three monitor home office setup.

The first monitor on the right is a Dell U2414h, 24-inch model Full HD (1080p) 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, and it is fantastic for editing film. The monitor in the middle is Dell UltraSharp 32 4K USB-C Monitor.

The third monitor is actually a Surface Book 3 13.5" Touch-Screen PixelSense - 2-in-1 Laptop mounted on a vertical dock and it powers the whole setup. That microphone on the adjustable arm with pop filter is probably perfect for recording audio.

She also has a surface dock and the gen 2 version which has the USBC port she uses for controlling all the devices. She has a ton with the surface arc mouse, ergonomic keyboard, Logitech c720 camera, and the Jabra evolve 285 headsets.

The one thing we would recommend is getting a bigger desk to provide more room for the monitors and make the setup more cohesive. We would love to ask if she has an ergonomic chair to match this beautiful setup or prefers standing?

2.

cool home office setup

Green might sometimes means newly founded hope and this WFH setup from @therealtblake might be all the inspiration you need to start working on bringing your own space to life. He is literally leaving the rest of us green with envy with that wall paper.

Where do we start writing about this setup? Maybe we should begin with the longest monitor we have seen in a while. The Samsung curved monitor can famously split into multiple windows in a snap.

Taking a sweeping glance at the setup we see the Samsung monitor, desk, headsets, speakers, and the HIDEit Apple Mac mini Mount. A good suggestion in the status was that he should mount the HIDEit Mounts Mac Mini Mount under the desk.

Three of the reasons this setup is on the much-coveted number 2 spot is the LED keyboard and the two eggshell speakers.

We would love to know what his playlist for typing away in the middle of the night or gaming with the controller in the background.

1.

nanoleaf home office setup

Can we get a drum roll for the best office setup of the week?

This setup by @raystrazdas is the true creatives’ dream WFH space. The vibrant  Nanoleaf hexagon lighting panel on his wall is the center piece of this setup.

Then you have a top of the line camera above the monitor, an abnormally long Logitech keyboard and ergonomic mouse on an automatic standing Desk. Ray reminds us that one monitor is more than enough with this dell screen on an adjustable arm.

Let’s not forget the two Elgato key lights, a leather desk pad, mic arm, light above the monitor and woodworked laptop stand which is the perfect shade. Great wire management as well with everything hooked up to a single control panel.

The wheatgrass, self-rotating globe, and the original funko collectible show a ton of personality. Obviously a gamer with the Nintendo switch background. The real question is how far did he get in Breath Of The Wild.

My dad got tired of his work from home setup and turned a deer stand into an elevated office space

This WFH space in the sky by @jeremiahjw's dad is what we've always wanted. The only way anyone can top this is by sharing a picture of their workspace in the international space station. Is there anyone at NASA, that could give him a run for his money?

Thanks @jeremiahjw for making our day with this!
